Stockholm is the financial centre of Scandinavia

According to The City of London’s Global Financial Centres Index (GFCI) Stockholm is number 30 and highest in Nordic countries in its ranking.

Number one is London, 2nd New York, 3rd Singapore. Of other Nordic counties Copenhagen is number 38, Oslo 39 and Helsinki 44.

Helsinki was the only one of Nordic countries losing position and with 4 places.

 

This Global Financial Centres Index monitors the perspectives of market practitioners and regulators located

across the world on the position of their own and other international financial centres. The report uses a combination

of questionnaire responses and underpinning data to monitor and analyse the way that perceptions of financial centres are shaped.

 

Listing is done twice a year and this is 5th listing. Enclosed is top 20 Financial Centre

with present rank (GFCI 5), Change in Rank within half year, Rating and Change in Rating since GFCI 4.
